flippen heck i just wrote an essay and it got deleted bummer!!!!!

yeh looks fantastic.

the short of it was..

ive wanted to do this for like 2 years.. would love to help if your not too far away!!

here is how to do it..

you need 2 swb roofs.. so you will need to seperate them from their vans via drilling out spot welds..
then cut them and over lap a join in the middle somewhere to be the same length as a lwb roof.

obviously you need to remove the lwb roof.. then once you have your new fabricated swb/ lwb roof you can fit the new roof and fill up all the spot welds again. sounds easy huh!!

did a test recently. 40 mins to drill out 40 spot welds..
342 spot welds holding the roof to the gutter rails on swb
and extra 25 each side on a lwb.. = 392 on a lwb roof.

so to drill out all the spot welds on 2 swbs and 1 lwb it wold be 1076 spot welds equating to via my tests, about 18 hours work.

thats just to get the roofs seperated.. then cut join and weld the new roof back on.

sounds like a fair job but if you were able to borrow 18 people it would only take an hour to drill out all the spt welds!!!

hope this one works arggg annoyed!!!
