no luck with mirrors yet guys. i was hoping to fit smaller mirrors straight into existing top threads and bog over  bottom threads or am i dreamin????

I've got Nissan Patrol mirrors and they fit nicely. just drill an extra hole and yes, bog up the bottom hole.
1976 SWB CF, 186 block, LPG customised VK EFI self ported Head, LPG converted Ram tube manifold, Extractors, Supra 5 speed, Falcon hwy Diff, HQ Disc brakes, Commodore 3 core cross-flow radiator, HEI, 90 litre LPG.
It can drive up a wall in 5th gear and across the Sun without overheating!

These ones on Eddy's arnt Patrol ones, but they mount very similarly.

Um, they're in my photos. You use the top hole and drill another about 70mm horizontally towards the front. Fit well, look good, rugged too.
