VS steering column & Astra/ Barina elect p/steer
« on: March 19, 2019, 01:20:04 PM »
Just a request for any information on how to install the VS column. I read somewhere thats its not too hard, however, cannot locate the post. Pic of the column attached.
Also any tips on installing the elect p/steer. Hooter made good mention of it when describing the LS1 conv - I've had similar ideas ever since reading his saga. Is the TLE elec unit the one to go for?
At the rate I'm going I might just be ready for the planned Nov run.

Thanks

Baz

Had a good reply on the Beddy facebook forum from Julian Bonner who advised the VS column install is not difficult & is going to post some pics soon of how he did it. Even better he is installing a VS dash. Looking forward to hearing how it goes & especially of the clearance between the wheel & instrument housing.

Still looking for info on the Astra/ barina elect steer. The correct unit to look out for is the TRW, not TRE as previously posted.

How good are these Beddys!
