Hi John
when we turned up at the gate there was a huge outcry! Bedfords are not allowed to be on display!!!  ???
When Ray sent in application form they took our money and sent us our sticker so we thought yeah ! they let us in.
But it Turns out the vechile has to have a Holden Badge...they dont take compliance plates as being a Holden  :( :( :( :(
So the good news is we saved $15 $5 for each person entry and $5 parking. As when we took out recipt to office they refunded our $60n in full.
so we wandered around the cars and swap meet looking for tar babies stainless steel mud flaps then left as we were all holdened out.
I did night shift that night and got two hours sleep and with a head cold to I wanted to headed back home.
hey i put a matress pillows and blankets in the back as i was going to have a sleep...so i m sorted glad we didnt have to spend the whole day there. Long day when your car is on display.
We will call in another time soon John as we are keen to see how yourcomig along with your van.
anyway following is some pics of the 800 cars that turned up.
Cheers Wendy & Ray

Even the Majestic Vanners were in the blue and purple theme  :D
some vanners to realise how lucky they are to be able to have the luxury of space to put in what ever size engine they choose.

Bet you felt like a right convict!!

I had the same at Gingin British Car Day when I pulled in next to the Triumph's who told me to piss off into the Vauxhall zone which was right next to them. But got the last laugh with being the only Beddy and with all the kids dragging their parents away from other vehicles to look at Scooby Doo van, friggin funny and the old boy who told me to move let me know he wasn't happy either.

Just tell em next time that Holden bought in the Beddy as a convenient way to move Holden parts around to the dealers hehe  :D :D

Hahaha Truck Mate we didnt evem makit it thru the gate...you should have seen em running...no no no u cant let a bedford in hahahah.
yeah they are so padanitc...i have a printed sheet i usually put on the van detailing all components of the van...since we have some fods bits Ray made me change them to borgwaner bits of just leave them out  ;D ;D ;D ;D
as he reckons any ford bits may have us kicked out...turns out being a beddy got us kicked out

We were going to the all british day on newcaslte for shore last week end but it rained so we gave it a miss..but i was keen to go n park next t the Jags ehehehe

Any way were really looking forward to the Van nats in easter...just sent away our registration forms today...as after 30th sep prices go up

Im hoping to have a great roll up of the BUGA group there!
Cheers Wendy & Ray
