For those of you who have already changed your Profile details and put yourself on the member map - well done.
For those that have not changed their details and put yourselves on the member map get a wriggle on
and get on the map! Simply click on 'Profile' under 'USER FORM' in the left hand menu.
Once your in there click on 'Forum Profile Information' under 'Modify Profile'
Once your in there add your location to the map and then move the marker to your desired location.
NOTE: Don't forget to save your changes - otherwise it won't record your location.

You may/may not want to point the marker to your exact street location for privacy reasons but if you plonk it
in the suburb or even city that you live in that will do.

The member map is a great thing! Get on the map - lets fill it up!

is it wise to advertise your whereabouts on a map , even if you dont pin piont your exact road your giving the low life scum in the world the area to start searching , scumbag looks at map , heads to general area and waits for a beddie to go past. scum bag gets his pick of tools and stuff when he sees van go away. or is it just me being paranoid.  ::)

Stumpy,

Don't put your exact location - just put your county or general area.
They won't be seeing your 'van go away' for a while so you should be safe! lol

Hey Bas NZ,

You need to move your location on the map. You're currently sitting in the middle of the Hauraki Gulf in about 80 metres of water. If you zoom in on the map it makes it real easy to locate you street.

Cheers,
Garry.

Stumpy, Australia is not too bad for that sort of thing, there seem to be other ways that they pin point who they are going to rob over here.
that bieng said I wouldnt put my street address or contact info on there
more likely to be a target of telemarketers or mail / identity theft if they have those sort of details.
