REAR DOOR
« on: December 04, 2008, 09:27:23 PM »
So im looking at ideas to replace the barn doors on the rear of the van.

I like the lift up one piece door with the large rear window..

1.anyone got any other ideas for something different?

2. does anyone have a rear door for sale?

i have a rear door.. will be for sale.. after ive taken a mould..

i want to do tailgate upper and lower.. like holden sandman. except i cant get proportions right. using sandman tailgates looks silly.. but with bedford doors cut looks too big. still thinking about what im gunna do..

cheers

wow thats a brilliant idea, wouldnt be that hard to do and the rear vision with a
full top glass section, bullit proof laminated glass of course, (a glass place could knock up a custom fit top.) wouldnt be cheap but i recon about a grand would get it done.then just cut n shut the lower 2 doors together and chop the top half off, put a motor in and some glass guides,
id make a flymesh section so u could crash in there with window fully down with out gettin eaten by mozzies.
