Electric windows
« on: September 09, 2008, 07:51:48 PM »
I been thinking of getting some electric window kits, ebay has some for $145

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/UNIVERSAL-POWER-ELECTRIC-WINDOWS-KIT-FITS-ANY-2-DOOR_W0QQitemZ260282751395QQihZ016QQcategoryZ33721QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

What i'm wondering is how hard is it to fit them into a beddy, is there enough room inside the door for them.

cheers

G'day
My main concern is if the "heavy duty motors" are up to the job. They don't look very big.
Also your existing mechanism has to be in good condition.

The way I have seen it done is by using the mechanism from the rear doors of a Ford Falcon with the CF arms welded on.
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!
