HELP!TORQUE FIGURES FOR CYLINDER HEAD-202 BLUE???

HI,

WE HAVENT A holden 202 WORKSHOP MANUAL :(

QUESTION:

Does anyone know what the Torque figures for the blue 202 head is pleeeease?

hey shell, the way we do it on the race motors is as follows:
start at 45ft/lbs
work from the centre side to side then diagonally until you work your way out to the ends of the motor
 1o o2
 3o o4
 5o o6
 7o o8
 9o o10
11o o12
13o o14

imagine the 'o' next to each number is a bolt head, start with 7, then 8, then 5, then 10, then 6, then 9, then 3, then 12 etc..

once you've done 45ft/lbs go to 60ft/lbs and repeat the torquing method.
we do 60ft/lbs twice to ensure even pressure on the head

then we go upto 80ft/lbs
we are known to torque at 80ft/lbs anywhere from 2-4times across the head to ensure each bolt is a true 80ft/lbs.

alot of other racers only go to 60ft/lbs, and dont go to the same effort to ensure even torquing, however these racers also change alot of blown head gaskets..
