V6 v belt
« on: June 18, 2011, 08:19:41 PM »
Here is a pic of how I dealt with the v belt to tidy up the front of my van. The adjuster was made from a few bits of pipe/nuts/bolts that were handy. The v belt was off a volkswagon of some sort. Just measured it up and matched it to one an Autopro. Its a pity as I sold the van and 12 months later it was found at a metal scrap yard, the next day it was crushed and recycled before any parts were salvged. Commodore diff, brakes etc.

What kind of bonnet and headlight conversion is that?

Is it all custom or did you find something from another vehicle to fit?
The Journey of a 1,000 miles starts with a single step...are we there yet?

The bonnet is the original beford which has been extended with sheet metal. Underneath, the latch mechanism was kept original and a pull cord to unlock it was attached. The Headlights are subaru liberty. Metal work and custom mods to fit them as well as the mitsubishi magna grill and land cruiser bumper. Shame it was crushed and recycled.
