Windows 7, as far as I know nothing has changed on the computer except not using it for 6 weeks while away, yes can open by clicking on it, opens in window viewer etc, but this would take for ever to see what I have aready loaded and not, should be able to  click on pictures under start and see them all, not just the symbol. :-\

I know what you're talking about Bas. See if either of these links below help. The second link mentions that if the 'Windows Photo Viewer' is not set as the default viewer for your image files then the thumbnails won't display the picture so have you installed any new graphics type applications recently that may have taken over your file associations?

Have a look through these links anyway because it's a lot quicker than me typing it out.

Thanks Rogue, being there done that, all is set up ok, will set photo's up in a 3rd party programe to view until I find out what went wrong, even did restore to 1 year ago. Any way left my external hard drive with all the photo's on, forgot when I was in Germany that I had done this, so did have them with me. Any way, Farther inlaw has posted it off, should have by Monday and start posting again

Thanks Bas

you mean we have to go through withdrawls?
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

The stretched Beddie with the two stage roof gives me wood, a few years ago I spotted a Beddie behind a workshop in Belmont that had been stretched with the 6 wheel conversion it looked professionally done the rest was very rusty later on it was for sale in the Sunday Times, where is it now?
Happy to be living past my "use by date" I was given 6-12 months to live in August 2007
