« on: August 31, 2010, 10:31:55 AM »
Does anyone have or know if they can be got, the clear perspex Monsoon Shield that clips to the door?
Used to be the rage on holdens back in the late 70's/80's, I've seen one van here in nz with a pair but that was awhile ago...
Cheers

Aussies call them 'Weather Shields'. You can do a search to find the couple of threads where this has already been discussed.

One of the guys suggested this site...  https://vault2.secured-url.com/ShopSecure/autocables/results1.asp?CategoryID=17&CarMake=BEDFORD

Someone else also got a set but I can't find their post. It's probably buried somewhere in the 'What have you done this week' thread.

Sounds like a photo opportunity George. How about a picture of them so the lads can see what they're buying.  ;)

I have all my bits and goodies in boxes in one corner of my workshop, out of the way till we are ready to put the van back together. Here is a pic of my mates van with them on. Is this what you wanted rogue.
