Hey guys, thats my new beddie, and yes i did notice the backwards-ness, was gonna ask you guys about it
the plus side is i can open the passenger door whilst the side door is open
the down side is i cannot get it to lock properly. I lock it in the morning, and when i get to work its unlocked..?
Hasn't opened by itself yet though.
Oh and if you look really close, the door handle is the same, just upside-down (and not in line with the passenger door)
I asked the seller and he swears it was like that from factory (perhaps a custom option)
I am seriously considering re-hanging it the "normal" way

How can i say this without hurting your feelings...Oh, I know, I don't want your stupid things in my cool van

the lock would riggle loose (unlocked) - gravity.
To fix it, turn the handle around and have it above the lock mech.

the upside down door handle shows its not factory.
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

TURN IT INTO A GULWING DOOR, THEN IT OPENS UP. ;D the door must be confused on what is the correct way to open, at least they got the door the right way up when they changed it..................

If i was you i would take this chance to remove all your beddy handles and fit commodore handles, its a simple job. That way you will be the only van NOW that has a reverse door, and handles that you can get parts for over the counter, have a look at my van in my gallery, mine work as smoothe as if they were factory fitted.  If your door does not leak, and it sits in it's opening correct i would leave it as is.

Ive got 2 side rear suicide doors on my van/ute. I use a drivers door handle and catch etc for the passenger side suicide door and vice versa
