How long have you had your Beddy??
« on: June 14, 2010, 10:29:52 AM »
Hi all, just a quick fun thred. Just wondering how long have you Buga's owned your Beddy's.
I'll start with 22years,::) thats half my life. I reckon I've saved tens of thousands on accomadation cost's by living out of it for months at a time, not to mention taxi fares, and it's served me well with the lady's having a comfy bed parked out the back of the pub with an esky full of drinks and a bottle of Baily's on ice!!! ;)  Can travel with surfboards, snow boards, fishing gear, tools, cloths and more and still have a bed unclutterd. :o
Maybe the freedom she gave me is the reason i'm still single,no kids(that I know of as friends will say)
but at least she's been a faithful and loyal companion and the one thing that stood by me throu thick and thin, good and bad times,if I lived in Vagas we would have been Married long ago!!!Ha Ha  8)

I've had my truck now for about 5 years. When my old xd ford ute got put off the road by the cops, i needed some other vehicle to load stuff into, hence getting the beddie and also the price was right$400.00 ;D

2 months.
It's been quite a build up....
mini panel van, daihatsu 2-stroke van, escort panel van, hr panel van, kombi van, mazda e2200 van... etc.
The last 8 years without a van (had a ute) has created a hunger that only a LWB beddy could satisfy.
This morning after the world cup game I pulled the curtains and had a snooze in the middle of collingwood.
love it
derek

I've had a hankering for beddies since I first layed eyes on a yellow V8 in Tamworth, I was just a spotty kid then :D

I've had Boris for over 12 years, and Natasha is a relatively new possesion only had her 12 months or so.

Kimbosound, is that 17 or 18+ years of beddy joy?? Or is that overlap years??
I think we should allow updates. And if you had one lost it and got another one, just minus the gap without one. 8)

Not my first not my last, had it about 3 years, driven it once (12k to new place, overheated go figure) have just put drivers side into high fill, to friggin cold at night to go to shed so will probably be another 3 years, unless those lotto numbers come in ;D then it will be in a bigger shed parked alongside one for every day of the week
If you like it do it, If you like it a lot do it a lot!
