Old BUGA Site Info

Hi moderators,

Just went to log into the old site to pull some info off for reference and to transfer some to this site and can't get into the old massage board. Has anyone considered archiving the info that was on that site and making it available from here? If so cool and when will it be available. If not how about letting access to the message board continue for a while so we can pluck off any stuff we need for reference etc. Be a shame to loose it all, and I don't really want to rewrite a couple of articles that I've been asked to add to this site.

Hi Garry,

The old forum is still available(I'll PM you the link) but we wanted to make it so people couldn't keep posting there. Unfortunately we don't have permissions to simply deny posting so we have hidden it for the time being.

Eventually I hope to have the old forum setup on my server and have a link to it in the main menu. But at the same time have it disabled for posting.

ok give me the run down on the old site are you a bunch of rebels who caused trouble and started a new site ?

I hope not. The old site was just getting to slow and very limiting for the amount of people in the BUGA community.

its true the old site was giving us a lot of greif.. but we still must hang onto all that info cause there is so much good stuff on there..

Once I get my hands on the old database I"ll be installing the Funk software on this server and have it available for ever.
