BUGA FLYERS
« on: August 06, 2008, 11:01:29 PM »
Members,

Flyers as requested. Black and white, 4 up on 1 A4 sheet for easy printing. Print a few sheets out, cut them up and keep them handy in your vehicle so that when you see a Bedford you can put one (or ten) on their window/windscreen.

JD you've done it again!! There are great.

But please remember it may be an offense to place the flyer's under wipers on vans. I know it is in Victoria. So please consider that before placing the flyer.

we have been using business cards to get around that law.
jilybean made some up with sxv & buga sites on same card easy to carry in your wallet too!
nice flyer jock, will post a pic of the business card in case any one wants it as well

"business cards imply intent through genuine contact standards regarding direct contact with client base on contractual business between two similar parties with out indifferences to a common transaction relationship. " (bugga that was hard) its been awhile since I had to engage brain and mouth at same time  :-\

The flyer law was passed mainly because shopping centers were targeted at random by marketing advertisers who abused the contact requirements of common law to assert influence on an unbiased client being canvassed on private/public property without there being any chance of contractual consent.  Oh yea they also created alot of rubbish (the real reason)lol

but iv never heard of any social groups being charged? a warning is usually sufficient but this was a long time ago maybe the laws are a bit tighter now?

We only ever had one complaint years ago and that was a van owner who lived on a main road and had a club card on his van every day lololol he was gettin a bit fed up I think it was a hz panel van named WARLOCK OR warlord OH CRAP IM OLD AND CANT REMEMBER  ::)

- POST FLYERS AT YOUR OWN RISK -  ;)
- BUGA WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROSSECUTION AGAINST FLYER POSTERS -  :D

If we were putting them on hundreds of vehicles we may be at risk of prosecution.

However we are only putting them on Bedfords! and
We all know how rare they are! and
We all know that most Bedford owners like to meet/talk to other Bedford owners, and
We all know that the ones that don't will just scrunch up the flyer and be done with it.

It's not like we are a promoting to profit, we're not even promoting a business.
If by some very very very slim chance someone did want to proceed with action against BUGA, their case would
be a very weak one... and let's be realistic - no one is going to give two hoots.

- BUGA WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROSSECUTION AGAINST FLYER POSTERS -  :D
