NSW BUGA members

Hey Guys

Just curious as to how many regular BUGA members are within 4hrs drive of Sydney. Planning is under way for some events that will cover Bathurst, Port Macquarie, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong & Canberra and hope to get some BUGA input.

G'day Fres

I am still here.

I don't get to Sydney much anymore  but with enough notice I would try to get to another one of your events. They are always good value.
Actually Newcastle and Canberra are easier, and quicker, to get to from here.

Regards

The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

Hey Frez if you are interested in holding the next van nats at Bathurst I will sponsor some events and even throw in some prizes

heaps to do here for sightseeing, the showground is well equiped with indoor and outdoor areas and camping onsite, Mount panorama is here and they have races on Easter weekend
plus its fairly central about 8hrs from Melb 3 hrs from sydney
I can even help arrange some trade displays if your keen

Thanks for your input guys.

Hey Frez if you are interested in holding the next van nats...
After co-ordinating the 1999 & 2006 event, I'd like to keep my half of the house - although I do appreciate everyone willing to thrown in for a good divorce lawyer ;D

Always know where to find you BB...

Van Nats 2010 - looks like somewhere in Victoria as no official bids were lodged at Easter - first time this has happened and oddly enough after last years situation where we had two bids for the first time. A resort on Phillip Island has shown interest in our annual event.

Meeting up with a few van owners at Wisemans Ferry this Sunday, who are considering the 2011 Van Nats - Bathurst and the Central Coast have been mentioned, while Port Macquarie Council is interested in providing a venue and associated services. A calendar of events is also being planned where each  organisation or club host a weekend run and a day run on an annual basis within the above regions. We hope BUGA can participate as we need more opportunities to get behind the wheel and away from the keyboard.

Looks like 2010 Van Nats is either McLaren Vale SA or Phillip Island VIC.
2011 may come to NSW, but nothing definite yet.

Calendar of events is coming together and we have a member from most van clubs / organisations in the area previously mentioned. All we need is an "official BUGA member" to provide some input on behalf of the other Bedford enthusiasts - and you won't even have to move away from the keyboard  ;D
