removing rear window seals?
« on: February 18, 2009, 03:26:53 PM »
Hey Guys

I Need to remove my rear window seals to place them in a new door,
Just wondering if anyone has done this before and whats the best way to do it?

So Far i've been pretty rough with it and I'm just worried about breaking either the window or the seal...

Cheers.. Burkey

EDIT----

Never mind... Jumped the gun a little bit... Just read the post by busy on removing windscreens, which by the way was very helpful

Amazing where about 2 minutes of actually reading will get you.

those windows are very strong, you'd probably break your hand before breaking the glass

The back windows can be a pain in the butt to get in, depending on the rubber condition they can be fitted with the string method or by placing the rubber into the door and working the glass into the rubber. be sure to remove filler strip before fitting
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
