central location?
each state, territory, county or island hold there own
are you keen to chuck in for food on sat night and sunday morning
do you want to but a t-shirt to mark the occasion
what type of venue, private property, national park , or other venue
where do you live, suburb sate country etc
do you want to help organize things...

Wendy, I am being the devils advocate.... Love the idea, so much so I will help organise a weekend away is SA... Why not have it on the October long weekend... most states have the 7th Oct as a public holiday.... except the vics (they wait til the cup) & WA (they have the week before) for labour day... and lets face it , owning a CF is a labour of love... :). so lets have a long weekend of a CF lovefest... if we are not all having it on the same weekend... dare I say CF......
