Trying to find a Bedford with a 253 V8 in Adelaide
« on: December 20, 2016, 09:49:03 AM »
Trying to track down an Adelaide-based Bedford van or truck fitted with a 253 V8 engine that's registration lapsed in 2008.

The engine number of the 253 V8 is QR245145 and would have been bought as a complete motor from a wrecking yard at Main North Rd Parafield sometime in late 1979 / 1980 and then installed in a Bedford.  S.A. Motor Reg cannot confirm model or rego number or any other details so this is a needle in a haystack search.

Looking to reunite the engine with its original Holden Kingswood body it left the factory in.
