Got a phone call at about midnight from Lou's Mum telling us that the cat had a tick and needed to go to the vet. So we jumped in the car (Beddy still awaiting fuel tank) still in pajamas and slippers to pick up possibly dying cat and got nicked by the constabulary coming out of our street. They followed us into the middle of town before pulling us over and informing us that the car was out of rego by a day, slapping us with a $500 fine and telling us we had to leave the car where it was. They were however kind enough to give us a lift home with the belongings we didn't want to leave in the car in the back of the paddy wagon with dried blood on the walls and floor. I'm assuming that they couldn't allow us in the back seats because of health reasons! ???
We got home to find out the house key was still in the car! :( Good thing the Real Estate hadn't fixed the window that got smashed in the hail storm last October! :P

Prior to this I'd just gotten home from Managing the Production of a 3 day World Music Festival that went down without a hitch (as far as all the performers and punters are concerned anyway) ;) ;D
