Well that was fun..NOT...Got up this morning went over to the place where that VP is ,got all my tools out and just as i started it pissed down with rain. So there i was lying under the car with all my toolboxes pulled in around me hiding from the rain then realized that the pavement the car was on had a bit of a slope ,and i was downhill... ??? so the rug i was lying on sucked it up like a big sponge..HA HA.
So i kept going..Bugger it.  Today i got the front engine bay harness and the computer, tailshaft, auto, front half of exhaust with oxygen sensor +cat converter plus a variety of switches and sensors. So far all up $100.00 .  ;D ;D

CAVITY WAX  is a browm waxy coating manufactured from the most sophisticated blend of rust preventative materials avaliable.
its designed for use in automotive panels ie inside doors, side panels, any were you can get in really. its not a rust killer but a preventative.

ive used k&h fishoilene in spray cans in all the cavitys i could get into and left it for a few weelks to dry then shot the cavity wax in to coat everthing, have used cans of the stuff. drilled holed into the pillars aswell, everywere, its awsome stuff

oh yea and its aussie made aswell so its gotta be good stuff ;D ;D ;D ;D

yeah cheers Hunter, exactly that..... just after youv'e done all the hard work of any rust repairs or treatment, remember ther'es two sides to the metal and most of the time you can only get to one........ssssooooooo... do it as soon as poss to prvent any moisture or oxidization getting to the metal. as Stevo said he fisholened it first (similar oil basedstuff, ) but then sealed it with the wax..... it basically is a coating (as paint is) to stop the moisture. :-* it has good penertrating properties too , some you might have to heat (on cold days) but i did put up a link about a week or 2 ago ...... a little more info . but generally application between 15- 35'C from memory. because i was cuting and welding I used Rainex as i went, to keep the oxidization away and then sprayed it with the wax. hope this helps. heat to spray and avoid to much sprayed in one spot as it will pond, crack and hold water, then start the rust process
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
