QUESTION TO ALL POPTOPPERS:
It appears my combie poptop looks same so we dont know which is the front or back, any one know by the vent in the roof,is that suppose to be above yr heads whilst driving like a sunroof, or at the back to look up to the stars when yr in bed in the back,we are not sure which end the vent should be would tell us which way the roof is suppose to sit on the beddy, any ideas? :-\
Cheers

Well, most of the ones I have had a look at the vent sits at the back,  ;) but this is not to say that this is the right way ??? but yes I think the vent to the back looks best.... Ok its a Combie poptop, well I think the vent went to the front on these vans, (recessed)if I remember right, they were different from all the others.  If it is a recessed vent built into the poptop I think it would look ok to the front, but if it is a after market one that has been fitted above the roof then I think to the back. Confused, I am.. ???

Make sure the vent openes at the back,
Otherwise the wind going foward while driving might rip it open and completely off
Cheers marty

Yes Marty is right, forgot about that, if it is not a slider and opens up this will tell you the way it goes, the vent hinge will  face the front so the wind flows over the vent lid

Poochie, don't worry about it, all info is good info!!

I'm looking forward to getting into it, but that first chop into the roof with the grinder is gonna be a proper brown trousers moment!!   :o :o

LOL,Funny !! ;D
Im already giving my poor brother the shits again over this idea ive bought into his garage agaaaaain.
Thankfully my bro is a pain in the ASS perfectionist BIG time so he will measure it 43times before cutting it and it will be finnish off fit for an art gallery that might be by 2026 its'll be ready but it will be worth the weight..IF i havent grown a FREAKN BEARD by then? :'(

Hey pooch What was rong with the poptop that was on it Be careful you dont put too much weight up there There's not much strength in the roof I had to put extra cross pieces in mine to stop it from bouncing & cracking the roof You can see photos in my gallery Cheers Reid
