im having intermittant problems with the site,
just a minuite ago i was in the thread where i posted the 2 pictures of the black
beddy Dynasty and the first picture was there but not the second,
so i hit refresh and then the second picture was there, whats going on?
im thinking its my ISP, internet service provider, TSN.cc
this kinda stuff better not happen when i change over to 3 gig, 7.2 speed, roam with
telstra, otherwise i will be terminating the contract straight away.
"TELSTRA." u copy that telstra?. lol.

turned off the power to modem and wireless link turned it back on and what do you know back up to speed . don`t know if thats what fixed it  but at least its working  :) :) :) :)
This does make sense. I think I did reboot my modem the other day. Will have to try again if it slows again.

yeah, but why should we have to turn the modems off and on, why does this help?
for the money we pay we shouldnt have to do this shoot.
im currently with TSN Internet at pt maquarie, i pay $40 per month, get 2 gig, at 256 speed, i have problems downloading files etc, when pages load half the pictures dont load, on this site, boatpoint.com, a fishing site, and a few other ones, this p@$&* me off to the max!
i just opened a 3 year contract with telstra for $44.97 per month for the first year, them $90 per month for the remaining 2 years.
for this im supposed to get 3 gig, of monthly downloads, at 3.000 to 7.200 speed, with a free flashdrive sized modem that plugs into the USB port, this small modem i can take anywhere that mobile phones get coverage, and can plug it into any computer i like. (this is what Telstra recon anyway).
i went with this contract coz im sick of the shoot im going through at the moment and i want to be able to take a $4,000 laptop anywhere, in my van or the yacht(when i get it) at sea, and have lightning speed broardband anywhere.
but this quality broardband will remain to be seen to be believed.
if its not like what the telstra rep said i will be major p*@%$ off and tell em to jam it right up their u know where.
coz in todays day and age there seems to be very little value for money with anything, TV,s , DVD,s, CD players etc, etc,  ,that last 3 years or less.
we live in a throw away society today. even cars etc are just about rat shoot after about 4 years or less, thats why i like the old Bedfords i can fix anything on mine my self, do all my own services, the parts are interchangable with just about anything.
shoot ive nearly written an essay, better leave it there. but anyway it will remain to be seen if this so called ants pants broardband is all they say it is.

Today this forum slowed down on me again.  >:(Last time I was in I didn't log out. I reset my modem and it's back to normal again.  ;DThis is a bit of info for anyone it happens to if they are with Bigpond ADSL Broadband. Don't know if it will work with any others, but it's worth a try if it all slows down.

My connection speeds vary, sometime its quick as other times it's slow to load up the home page and then changing pages. Time of day does affect the speed. I'l talk in AEST times here. Around 8.30am - 9.30am slow then again at 12.00 - 2.00pm and again from 4.00 - 6.00pm. These are log in and lunch time for businesses and school kids online. As BUGA is hosted in the US we use the same pipeline as all the business and school kids use. We have school holidays coming up so expect the internet to be sloooow.
