Gidday, mike long time no hear, yep it was a top show van in its day and won lots of trophys at shows was hard to beat. Unfortunately the last decade or so has been owned by a string of dickheads who have collectivley led to its demise. The first one sanded it down with a grinder to bare metal and thought it was cool to drive round in bare steel, he then after I informed him of how stupid that was painted it in some sort of wash off able paint, but alas it was too late brown spots were appearing all over the body. the next dickhead to own it thought he was a mechanic and stripped the motor removed the heads and generally didnt run well once he put it back together. Havent seen it for a good 4 or 5 years, just assumed it was rotting away somewhere.

In its hey day was painted in metalflake paint and had an awsome mural on the back done by andy philpot of pleasant point. Had a burgundy interior and an xa or b dash. Also had electric windows at some stage and a gull wing side door. One of our former members was restoring it before it got into the hands of dickheads, he was doing a good job of it too and there wasn't much body work to do to finish it. Sadly though that was not to be. Although it can still be saved if done right.

There are a couple of pics of it at the 2000 van nats in my gallery in the bedfords I've photographed album, will put some more up from the club album in the next couple of days when I can get time. As my scanner is bung will have to re photograph them and post them that way.

Hope this helps
Cheers Jeff
