« on: November 02, 2011, 04:49:40 PM »
Hey its pain in the ass me agaaaain, lol!!

Now im torturing my other brother Wayne this time with the electrical's,got him stumped?
When i bought my Beddy and drove it from Qld to Vic the head lights would go completely out in between flicking them from Hi to Low or visa versa,SCARY driving in the dark.
I bought a new compatible Morris Minor Indicator arm and STILL having the same probs?
My guess its something to do with the original electicals, but then again what the hell would i know,....im just the interior decorator dept chic?
OK boys, scratch ya heads or yr nutz on this one for me and give me your idea and how to solve this next problem now,im thissssssssss far away from FINALLY drivng my Muff machine,HELLLP,its killing meee! VOOM VOOM,I can hear it now!!  :'( :'( :'(

Cheers,
Shell (Poochi)

had similar prob recently (about the last 3 years, still no hurry eh) was the connector on the firewall not making good contact. Could also be fuses, depending on what year your van is. Also check inf anyone has added a relay to the headlight circuit, these have also been known to fail especially when fitted in engine bay.

Hope this helps
Cheers Jeff
Just customize it!

Try cleaning the contacts on your headlight switch, but also could be faulty high beam switch or wiring, I had a floor dipper wired into my indicator switch. Are they original headlights or halogen? The old Bedford wiring doesn't cope very well halogen headlights, if  they are they need to be rewired. I had headlight problems for years until I had them fully rewired with relays and fuses etc.

Check your earths are good and as Jeff mentioned that junction box on the fire wall can be the cause of many problems
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
