Was it much work fitting the steering column? Not the electrical, but the mechanical?

Hi ya all, No it isn't too much trouble fitting the column, they mount up pretty close to standard just had to modify the end mount to the rack and change over the vibration rubber, weld square tube on the end to fit over the standard rack arm. I'll take some pics when the sun is shining to show ya.

in regards to the dash, it's just a standard bedford binical that I took the guts out of, then made up a piece of MDF to fit,cut the holes for gauges n lights, modified the fromea of the original so that it leans back about 20 degrees from standard and the raised it about 25 mm so I could see it all properly through the steering wheel. All the standard dashes have real long bolts holding them in place so there is heaps of thread not being used, whack 6 or more washers under each to achieve the desired position.

Speedo built by Stuart Wagner for S.A. police, fuel gauge by Speco & 4 way gauge by Autoplutonium. Check the links I posted earlier in this thread or search for speedo on the old site for more info.
Cheers

Thanks for the info Clance

I had a look at the links, but I thought the speedo & tacho may have been from the same crowd.
