greetings from brizzle
« on: June 29, 2010, 05:26:32 PM »
hello, just bought my first cf,its a  mk1 ambulance. the autobox/ torque converter failoed during the mot so i got it towed home and ripped out the engine and box, i'm now waiting for a ford scorpio 2.3 16v manual to be delivered so i can start the transplant, thought i'd say hello from blighty and knick all the knowledge you lot have. Its nice to work on vans for a change, i spent a few years getting a vauxhall red top in my triumph spitfire where everything had a clearance of a few mm . she's on the road now , it started off with just an engine change then i thought may as well do the brakes , then the front suspension, the the rear brakes then the exhaust then the induction then the interior so a 5 week job took over 3 years, i'm sure this one will be the same :)
