Hi, I am preparing to offer for sale my father's 1979 CF Bedford van and parts, he loved this van and his wish was that it live on and become someones loved project. My father died suddenly last year and I am his son and executor, I am still collecting and collating but he has an extensive catalogue of new and used parts and several 186 engines.
I am seeking some guidance and advice re pricing the vehicle, he did have a great mechanic who has given me a great inside into the vehicle and over the next few weeks should have all my ducks in a row (getting all the many parts here with me, my wife is so thrilled!!) and hoping to start looking for offers.
Have been doing a lot of research online and have learnt a lot about the CF series, this van is a GM factory single axle long wheel base with the higher roof and it has a 202 and is an auto.

That's really cool but it looks like it's been shortened as well. I'd love to build one of these.

Hi Everyone,
Currently looking to fit tyres to my old girl. Does anyone have a photo of a tyre placard inside the door (mines Gone) or can anyone tell me the tyre load rating for a 1974 CF250 SWB?

Thankyou to Blackbedford for providing copies of wiring diagrams. I was able to download and print onto my Macbook. Then I could see how the hazard lights worked and was able to replace the flasher cans. thanks again and regards Paul from Yarram.

Replace the coil, newer ones have the ballast resistor inside. Also its one of the first things I do when I buy a beddie. Also I like to change distributer cap and leads, usually solves half a dozen problems along with the earth strap on the battery..just my 2c worth.
