thanks Mike, that may be helpful. will let ya know if i can not get it sorted.

was going to get: spigot bush, clutch plate, shifter housing, shifter boot, dust cover, and w59 gearbox which they did not have in stock but was going to get one for me. the 14" shifter housing was going to be sold with the gearbox so save some cash there. that was the first call i made to them, then ask for a time frame and a total price with freight and was told i would be called back... well that did not get any where. now looking at other options and might just get the shifter housing off them. might all be that jeffs on holidays for a few weeks and they too busy, might give it one more go.

how's it going garry? bet ya happy to get some time to work on the van. i think the gu patrol bar might be too flash for my rat style beddy, but definitely want the tow bar and maybe the brackets for the bull bar if you will separate them? might be able drive up there some time but not sure, do you ever drive down to cooroy or noosa way as i am there on wendnesdays and fridays? i think got ya number still, so will give you call if can drive up

is this the tow bar ya talking about http://www.buga.com.au/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=8&g2_itemId=7744

Driveline / dellow problems!!!

been 2 weeks now since i first called dallow conversions and have not got any closer to getting a gearbox sorted. anyone else had problems with these guys or am i not using the right code word for them to take my money. been told i would be called back every time called and have not  heard thing. jeff was helpful but he's gone on holidays before he called back and confirmed anything. would go some where else but they have a 14" shifter housing that brings the shifter forward 4" which would be better than a extreme goose neck.

been having issuse with getting the truetrac for the diff done as well, but finally getting some where.

people hear the word "bedford" and suddenly customer service goes out the window.

i forgot that i gave the 4 speed away with a beddy just sold, so can not check the bolt. are you missing the reverse light switch that mounts on that bolt too?

good idea to check the clutch peddle where it attaches to the cable for wear, and the firewall for cracks or flexing. also i have put a large diameter washer for the cable to mount on the firewall to distribute the pressure and prevent damage, should not flex the firewall if the clutch is adjusted right but most i have seen have been abused.

usally a combination of wear and tear causes the adjustments to get close to maxing out. i welded and reshaped the peddle hole and the hook on the clutch fork, and put that washer in and it got my adjustment back in the middle.

check the cable too.

that clutch is from a holden one tonner with straight red six, have always put them in my long wheel bases. now excedy list it (part number gmk-6053) for the bedfords, i believe that they have lasted longer for me.

never had any issues with these clutches, i would check your adjustments. do you have the pull type clutch fork?

might be good idea to give the flywheel a machine if the old wear marks are bad.

not too sure what the bolt you talking about is but will go have a look at my beddy and see if can work it out (might be hard as its in parts for putting in the new 5 speed)

Exteriors and Interiors / new battery cover clips
« on: August 16, 2014, 11:11:55 AM »
if any one needs new battery cover quarter turn fasteners and is having trouble finding them, these guys have them cheap and they even refunded most of the postage. 5/16" x .500" fitted my cover perfect but if your rubber is a bit old and compressed you might need a washer. they also have the springs
