Remember the six vans we saved from going to the scrap yard
HI we have FINALLY Got a plan organised with the vans, they are to be fully stripped this weekend and be ready to be trucked out to the scarp yard on monday morning. Any help on one or both days would be very much appreciated. Please reply with a personal message or better yet a text message to 0422975697, on what day you can help, list any parts your after and please bring your own tools, jacks and things you might think will be helpfull. We have a forklift and oxy at the premises. I will be doing a sausage sizzle for lunch, tea and coffee provided, just bring your preferred cold drinks. Hear from you soon . I will reply with location and time later on in the week. Cheers Wendy

With a sad heart i announce we lost fellow Buga John Beare has passed away today, and it was his birthday too! John was battling many health challenges . Last year he made the big trip down from QLD to attend the Vna nats in Moe , after just getting out of hospital! He absolutly adored his beloved bedford van and it was an amazing van too! He has done thousands off km traveling across the country in it! so for those who knew him and for those who didnt here is a picture of Pinky! And John who takes his game of pool realy seriously!

Found this on face book , thought it might be useful for a jumbo owner with dual wheels.... "Time to fess up. How long did it take you to figure out that the passenger side rear dual wheel nuts have a left hand thread? I'll go first. Took the large breaker bar to it, sprayed the WD40, added a piece of pipe for leverage, used every swear word I know and even made up a couple of new ones, laid on the ground and glared at the nuts....hang on a minute." Nice buga to confess and share his wisdom....We all had a chuckle!

This is quoted from a Facebook post by John B.
I spoke to rare spares today in perth "paul" will do a run of the inner and outer door belts so please give him a call if you want them soon so he can organise it all a big thank you to john forbes for his information
Bedford Window Seals. Rare Spares Perth. Paul or Greg. 08 9470 1117. . The items are called CF Bedford Outer Door Belt DB8027 and also CF Bedford Inner Door Belt DB8028. These are the rubbers that stop the rain running down the window into the door. They need about 20-30mm trimmed off as they are supplied over-length to ensure you get the curve up at the ends. Cut the door belts on an angle at the ends as these then butt up to the Bailey channel.
