Maintenance / Re: Winding Windows Seals, Felts and Rubbers
« on: July 05, 2012, 07:09:31 PM »
another good trick is where the existing pinch strip is on the front and rear of the door jam weld in the top piece that the bedford designers and builders  forgot to add.
and use a commodore pinch strip that has the door seal stuck on it.
leave the existing bedford door rubbers on the doors as well and its nearly as water tight as a fishes *
no anoying cold wind or noises in your right ear either.

cheers marty

We did this and it's well worth it. Pinchweld with a soft side-blister is available from Clark Rubber. We also installed a bent strip of angle to the interior wheel arch to continue the pinchweld right around the door.

Lack of wind noise is amazing

I'm using Firefox for the first time (heaps faster!!) and every time I "Reload" I have to log back in to the Buga site even though the 'puter knows the password. Is this normal or am I a Firefox newbie  ???  ???

Never happened on slug-Explorer - click Buga and you were in for life  ;D

I went #4 on my first van but used truck lights brake-indicator-brake on each side, mounted proud, and then hit the lot with Shadow Tint (might be called Night Shades now??) so they all looked black until you hit the pedal or indicator. Looked pretty good (old LTD style?)

You could onle see a row of rectangular black lights with the number plate in the middle until they lit up. If it was the brakes there were four of the buggers to let people know that the brakes had indeed been applied!!

Then had a small low-mount spottie on the tow bar as a reverse light.

Bloke's missus reckons he wasn't really cutting it in the bedroom any more so she sent him to the chemist to get some of those pills that make a man really ready for it.

He came back and presented her with a box of diet pills.

He never heard the shot.

 ;D

be a lot easier if some one new how to search the census

Let's try it this way -

We've got two (not counting the donor van that will never see the road again)
Petrol head has two,
Craig(Obsession) has at least two  ;D
MaTTe has one
Dano's got two

That's nine, just add to the count with each post. If you want to get fancy about it we can just adjust the table below -

WA - 9
Vic -
SA -
Qld -
NT -
NSW -
ACT -

Kiwi Vans -
