What's do you think about this?

CF Bedford Chat / Bedford ... CF3 ???
« on: April 11, 2015, 01:31:36 AM »
You may have seen these photos online before:

I never seen any info or photos on these models before, I'm not sure exactly what they were... concepts for a future CF3? Maybe some customs? Were the official?

Well a similar CF showed up at a car show in the UK at the beginning of the year, I posted it here:

http://bedfordcf2van.blogspot.com/2015/02/general-motors-truck-bus-operations-uk.html

It actually seems to be something real and official with the "General Motors Truck & Bus Operations UK" stickers.

And now the owner is selling it on ebay!

I think it is a prototype of what would be the 1987 "CF2 facelift" or "CF3"  if  they hadn't shut down the CF production in 1986.

What do you think?

Wanted / steering wheel HUB / Boss
« on: February 11, 2012, 01:45:11 AM »
Hello, does any one have a steering wheel Boss for a CF?

I know there are 2 different sizes, my van is a 1983 facelift,
I think the different size was only for the CF2? .. not sure..

Thanks

The Sump / Australia discovered bt the Portuguese
« on: January 12, 2012, 07:28:17 AM »
I just seen this on the news over here,

A kid found a 16th century Portuguese gun buried in a beach near Darwin.
This piece seems to be an important key to the theory of the Portuguese discovery of Australia.

Driveline / Moving engine forward?
« on: November 17, 2011, 05:16:15 AM »
When you swap a V8 into a CF you always get this huge doghouse.

I was thinking why not remove the radiator and move the engine forward,

that way you would get more space inside the cabin.

You can put 2 smaller radiators on the sides of the engine,

I seen this example of a Opel with a inline 6 cylinder were they had to put a side radiator to fit the engine (this is stock)

Exteriors and Interiors / New headlights for custom CF1!
« on: May 06, 2011, 07:39:24 AM »
Hi guys, I just came across these cool headlights with the turn signal incorporated into it!
It's great if your doing some custom work, you can get rid of silly turn signal lights for a cleaner look.
Just wanted to point it out  8)

Driveline / custom made drop spindles?
« on: November 26, 2010, 10:44:54 PM »
I'm thinking about getting some drop spindles made to lower the front end.
I have some questions:  ???
1- Should I have them made from scratch?
2- Should I have the stock spindles modified?
3- Are the spindles the same on mk1s, facelifts and mk2s?
4- How much drop are the ones available in AU?
5- Any recommendations?

Can someone post up a photo of a drop spindle?
