Hi, can anybody help?
My booster has started to leak quite badly, and think is is time for a change over or a recondition.
Have standard bedford late model master which has been resleeved and works great so don't want to change that, just need a new booster.
Does the LJ torana booster fit Bedford master? Any other options?
Been searching the forum for info but can only find stuff for changing booster and master.
Cheers

been 2 weeks now since i first called dallow conversions and have not got any closer to getting a gearbox sorted. anyone else had problems with these guys or am i not using the right code word for them to take my money. been told i would be called back every time called and have not heard thing. jeff was helpful but he's gone on holidays before he called back and confirmed anything. would go some where else but they have a 14" shifter housing that brings the shifter forward 4" which would be better than a extreme goose neck.
been having issuse with getting the truetrac for the diff done as well, but finally getting some where.
people hear the word "bedford" and suddenly customer service goes out the window.

if any one needs new battery cover quarter turn fasteners and is having trouble finding them, these guys have them cheap and they even refunded most of the postage. 5/16" x .500" fitted my cover perfect but if your rubber is a bit old and compressed you might need a washer. they also have the springs http://bullantperformance.com.au/store/#!/~/product/category=9138196&id=36466897

hi, can not find any info on wheel bearing kit for the duel wheel beddy.
anyone know where you can get some wheel bearings and seals or the full kit for the rear duel wheels in Australia?, these i believe are completely different from the single wheel and SWB ones.
if there is no one in Australia has anyone had experience with buying them from overseas? and know a good supplier?
i am also going to try the bearing shops to try matching some up.

hi, i have let my swb parts beddy go as dont have room for it and its parked on neighbours lawn. lots good bits still on it, i wish i had it when i was rebuilding my main beddy!!
shell is in fairly good shape with rust patches here and there but better than most old beddys i have seen, would be good for some of its panels or a good shell to start a rebuild.
disk brake front end!
seats and seat bases in great condition.
fiberglass custom dash with the mountings for the old bedford dash fiberglassed in.
stone guards, can be cut to fit a swb or almost a lwb. make your beddy look a lot lower.
might sell two side bubble windows.
heater parts.
tail shaft modified to fit and auto?? can check.
might sell 2 inch exhaust to fit extractors.
have not checked diff yet, think it is a holden center with bedford studs??
has a running 202, was running good when took it for a test drive but unsure of how many k's it has done.
i have m22 aussie 4 speed with bell housing, yoke, shifter, almost new excedy clutch, fork, cross member, which i might sell for it.
all doors, bonnet, and grill in fairly good shape with a bit of rust here and there, check photos.
all offers considered or make an offer for all of it. located in caloundra, sunshine coast, QLD.

hi all, looking for some help with my DUAL WHEEL LWB beddy. finally tackling the gearbox and diff but have issues with finding parts for the diff and getting a bit lost in ratios. have tried searching lots of posts but unable to find specific info on my set up. my main problem at the moment is that have opened the diff to find out that all tho is has a chev 12 bolt center the axel splines remain bedford, trying to install a lsd but my diff guy is having trouble finding parts to fit the splines. anyone had experience working this one out? and yes i really want a lsd as i am on dirt and muddy roads a bit with a heavy long wheel base. also anyone got any recommendations for this next job?? my set up: 186 holden red engine with performance head, aussie 4 speed m22 gearbox, chev 12 bolt 3.55 diff with bedford duel wheel hubs, tyres 195 R 14 C 106/104N issue with set up: 1st gear has not much power (engine may need some fine tuning) and 4th revs to high on the highway. new set up: toyota 5 speed (will find out model on thursday), diff 3.08 or 3.23 or stick with the 3.55 and putting in lsd, may put larger tyres on?? old m22 ratios: 1st 3.74:1 2nd 2.68:1 3rd 1.68:1 4th 1:1, rev 3.74:1 toyota box: 1st 3.954:1 to 3.285:1 depending on model 5th 0.85:1 to 0.78:1 depending on model probably work perfect with old 3.55 diff and tyres? any help or recommendation would be greatly appreciated. i am having a talk with my drive line expert on thursday but some bedford specific info may save a lot of $$$

got the van body back from the panel beater only 4 months late, so finally work is back on track and will hopefully have a roadworthy in a week. so far has cost me a job, my other bedford, my son and his mother (just moved outta the bedford workshop to the house up north), and nice big debt... hopefully worth it.
so today was the start of tackling the jungle of new wiring loom.
