hi Guys...I have an embarrassing confession to make.

I got my Bedford Motorhome stranded ...in my own back yard 

I was mowing the back yard and decided to move the beddy
So I could mow the grass under her.

If got a bit of a slope that runs down to the back fence and then a drop
Off into the neibours house.

Well the front brakes must have seized a bit from sitting too long and by the time I applied the hand
Brake I was only feet from the fence ( and into the neighbors house if I wasn't careful)

The motor stalled and trying to heel toe the brake and accelerator while I release the handbrake and
Put into reverse without rolling forward was um ...interesting.

Finally got it into reverse reved it up to tale the load , all 3.5 tonne more revs ...and....nothin
Couldn't even spin the dual wheels on the grass...but the smell of brake lining or should I more correctly
Say clutch let me know to quit..and quit now!!

Doh ...I can't believe it I'm stuck in my own back yard...

I'm gonna have a mate come around next days  or so with a snatch cable to pull me back out onto the
More level ground....times like this I wonder whether having a big old heavy girl that is under powered
Is really worth the effort.

Has anything like this ever happened to any of you ??

I have in near pristine condition (meaning no rips or holes in the vinyl) 1 x Bedford Front seat for sale of to swap
for heater box assembly unit and fan in working order (mine is not working too
good as blades keep jamming inside the box assembly.)

see picture below (doesn't include base box) as Ive got a second hand delica seat mounted on it for my missus

Hi Fellas,

I know this might sound like a silly question, 

But do any of you know the best or proper place to place the Jack to change the tires
on a LWB Dual rear wheeled Bedford?

I want to inspect the brakes on the Motorhome, and when I crawled under the van (not much space)
I though about between the U Bolts at the base of the leaf springs but the Bottle Jack it too tall.

Any way if any of you have some ideas or experience that would be really appreciated.
