Introduce Yourself / Re: ON THE MOVE
« on: February 02, 2010, 02:26:43 PM »
Well we have made it to sydney.
The van only stopped once we blew 5 teeth off the timing gear but after two days and a lot of work later we were back on the road.
We broke down in Tarcutta around 400km from sydney if you ever find yourself needing work done there run a mile they are no
help at all the only thing they are good at are getting parts.
Someone maybe able to help me with a little problem after I replaced the timing gear in the Black 202 we have a small knocking noise from the drive's side no power has been lost and it's not the valves or rockers.
The van went the 400km to sydney no problem.
We fly to NZ tomorrow so if I don't reply straight away that why.
If any one knows a good 202 mechanic in sydney please let me know.
Thanks  all
See you on the road again soon. ???

For Sale / Kiwi Van With Fire
« on: July 08, 2009, 11:39:09 PM »
To all you kiwi's out there I found one of my old CFs on trade me in wellington.
This is a LWB tan colour van.
Just a little heads up if you are looking for a fire this van has a custom made one that sits on the door so can be used inside for heat and outside
for cooking.
I designed it and had a mate make it from all stainless steel milking machine parts.
All my photos are back in NZ but this item is very cool and well worth a look.
TradeMe.co.nz  ;)
