hi there I have been lurking for a while with some valuable info in the forums that has helped me a lot , recently the brown wire melted all the way back to the altenator  :'( , auto elec repaired that one for me , I got a series 3 landrover indicator stalk to replace the Bedford one all wired up mostly the same colour wires , new head light globes afew new fuses and circuits , electric fuel pump , had to pull the gas out to get retested and make a heat shield as the laws are different ti when it was registed in vic ,removed the fuel tank ran new lines cleaned up tank , new sender unit , 3x fuel filters , new body deadener , new carby , refitted gas and all passed runs good on gas still have a few teething problems on fuel , hopfully it will make it from hervey bay to brassy and back on Friday as I want to order a few things for it in brassy , like dragway wheels , power steering found a place to check out rather than look for a transit rack , aircon [ vintage air and another one ] well its all taking shape still lots to do though .  ;D
