Title: expat kiwis

Was wondering how many expat Kiwis living in Oz are on the Buga site? I am ex Kawerau arrived in 1981  ;D

I arrived in 83 but had the sence to leave in 85 haha. ;D

lived  whitby, paramata, lower hutt, upper hutt etc

arrived 81

left papatoetoe a few times, seems like this time i broke the ties for good.
My heart is still somewhere in the top of the south island.

My dad was born in Melbourne, and left Oz to live in NZ, he passed away a few years ago and is buried in our home town, funny how things turn around, I come from a family of 14 and half of us are now living in Oz, yesterday I visited the Springvale cemetry to find my Ozzie grandparents sites, not a lot of info but will keep trying .... however make no mistake I barrack for the All Blacks !!!!! then again I barrack for the ozzies when they are not playing the kiwis (particularly the poms is that wrong?) for me Oz is the best country in the world but NZ is home  ;)

Have to agree Eddy, Oz is a great place have seen most of it, I moved back because of the women thing you no the thing called love, but was very happy while I lived in Oz.

Yeah I've been here since 86, lived in Auckland for 20 years. Like going back to NZ for visits but Oz is where I'd rather be. Family is split between the 2 countries and yes still go for the Allblacks and all the rest doesn't matter :)

Don't knock the Hutt Valley, I did my apprenticeship on the Beehive and lived in and played rugby for Upper Hutt, luv Wellington (mainly the summer months though), also lived in Kawerau ,Hamilton, Rotorua, Auckland, Turangi and Christchurch, home sweet homes  ;D

i jumped on a big silver bird at 16 and have only been back twice im 39 now..born in hamilton grew up in waihi beach and new plymouth luv it over here will never move back !!but once a kiwi always a kiwi...thats where the beddy bug comes from
