Title: Heater core conversion?
Post by: Chucky on February 01, 2015, 05:47:08 PM
Hi all,
I saw something on here about an alternative heater fan setup, does anyone have any inform on alternative heater fan systems from other marques that have been used in our beddys?

I have searched and couldn't find the thread I was looking at yesterday.

Regards,
Paul

I have been considering one of these, compact, powerful and not too expensive.

I like the look of the ebay one, pretty small, im interested to know how much air it actually pushes though ?!?! would certainly fit nicely up under the dash though!

Thinking of putting one of these after market heaters in the back of the poptop camper to help heat the van up quickly, :D

Joel told me in the past that is was a spl radial blower from memory, however it simply moves air, so if you're looking for heating or cooling then you need a heater core/air con system to accompany it

Contact cooldrive in Brisbane and tell them you want a 3 speed blower - it is just a blower so you will still the core as matte says, around the 100 buck mark from memory.

i can't get on the website for some reason so i can't look up the part number sorry.

Yeah i payed $100 for bedford  recore, was worth every cent,
They used a commodore core.
