Im going to buy it just to mock fit a V8 into it.
So i get it right before i touch my green or blue van.

$2000 just to trial fit a motor....
-
Nagh, i couldn't warrant $2000 for it, i could spare $600,
So i got it for $600.
It needs heaps of work to put back on the road.
Its been gutted and the windscreen frame removed at the top, :(
Flat back tyres, all tyres are stuffed, all brakes are
Seized snd rusty, has a standard beddy diff, motor and 4 speed has been laying
Under a tarp on the ground for years so i recon it would be stuffed.
So i bought it for parts and to mock up the V8 fit.
I just need some V8 engine fit measurements now so i can weld the 50mm boxtube onto 1 of the
Spare Front crossmember/chassis.
And then fit a 308, auto n some new drilled/slotted disk brakes and slip her under the blue van.
I might resurrect the old girl yet, with the red 202,auto out of the blue van,
it just depends on how i go getting all
These other projects finished.
It just shows, sometimes its better to never pull anything totally to bits, as it can become overwealming.
Sometimes its better to just concentrate on 1 part at a time.
And leave the thing running so it can be moved around.
And that will keep the running gear in good shape.........

SOLD
Its at my place now,
Its actually worse than i thought it was, lol, :D

Marty, your timing is impeccable, I have both v8 front ends next to each other in the shed, tomorrow I'm playing motor change and will take some happy snaps for you, my box tube front end is prob one of the best possy's Iv'e seen for a SBC , I had lowered and moved back the mounts , giving plenty of airflow, I rarely ran a fan on the 327, with a five core and no shroud, some good pics are in my gallery, giving you an idea. I'll also compare some measurements with a standard 6 cyl front end...Borrie's old one

Thanx heaps Dano ,
Your a legend, im going for a 308 carby motor i think?
Sounds the easiest option i think?
Cheers marty
