Title: Options for whole new running gear
Post by: atk1 on August 21, 2012, 11:19:57 AM
What vehicle do you guys think would be good to graft into a CF shell? Ive always wanted to do this kind of build and reading the thread from yoeddynz about using the Ford Falcon has got me amped. I just scored a mint solid rolling body for next to nothing that Im going to put a good amount of dollars into. The only wide-ish wheel based vehicles Ive driven are a 1998 Ford Transit (non turbo) & the Toyota Granvia. The Granvia drives very nice, the Transit was pretty average. Im also swaying more towards diesel. I dont know much about other vehicles so any suggestions will be appreciated.
Cheers

Man did you come to the right place, there is only one option if you have the cash and the need to graft. 4X4 mate you need to do a 4wheel drive beddy + loooooooottttttttttssssss  of pics, or better, a step by step pic or video diary, so the rest of us can see what to do.

Hey George, yes I will be filming the whole project right from when i pick it up. Im planning on having the whole shell alkaline dipped back to bare steel. I will make a DVD about it...
