I have scanned the Australian owners manual for CF Bedford, if anyone needs it they can download from the direct link below. Its about 10 meg.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14352515/CF%20Bedford%20Australian%20Owners%20Manual.pdf (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14352515/CF%20Bedford%20Australian%20Owners%20Manual.pdf)
Some of the pages are out of order, but I couldn't re-order them because if I do the program I use stamps ads on the pages. All the pages should be there though, perhaps someone else can re-order it and upload to the download section of the site.
Hope this will be helpful to CF owners.

Thanks a lot. I am not australian owner but I found a lot to myself. :-)

Also, here are links to the CF Workshop Manual. Its the UK one so doesn't feature the Holden drivetrain that was used in Oz; the Oz Supplementary Manual second from the end outlines the differences:

I also have the CF Bedford Oz parts catalogue, its massive. It has some good diagrams in it. Also have the UK owners manual and a few other misc things. Will try and scan them one rainy day and link here, they are good references. The things you find on eBay hey?

-
stuuuz can you tell me if your parts manual has the door pin size or a part number please
thanks and thanks for all the links :-)

Hi John. I have scanned chapters 10 and 12 out of the CF GMH Parts Catalogue for you to have a look. It is linked here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14352515/Bedford/Bedford%20CF%20GMH%20Parts%20Catalogue/10)%20Body%20-%20Bedford%20CF%20GMH%20Parts%20Catalogue.pdf

Assuming you are talking about the front slam doors, on page 260 Group 10.450 and 10.454 there is mention of a "screw" - Part number 167380 - is that the pin you mean? There is also a reference to the side cargo door in this chapter.
If it is the back doors, look in the second dropbox link at section 12.
Sue the links are working for me, perhaps try a different browser or computer ? Or message me your email and I will send you the link directly.

Hi, I'm in a bit of a pickle with getting my 1979 Bedford van on Historic rego. I had previously been running 15" F100 wheels that had been re-drilled but they were a bit wide so reverted to a set of alloy jelly bean mags 14 x 7"
With the changes in rego rules and a requirement for more originality on historic vehicles I need to go back to the originals, however, my originals seem to be 14 x 7" as well and all the spec sheets, British and Australian show 5.50 or 5 1/2" x 14" wheels as standard? If anyone can show me where they say 6" or 7" x 14" it will save me heaps in new tyres! at least until these wear out and I can get whatever they need (if it doesn't change again in the mean time!! : )
ALso, I do believe that Landcruiser 200 series (5 stud) wheels in 15, 16 and 17 will fit the stud pattern of the Bedford (PCD matches but u would have have to check the offset and adjust tyre sizes to suit so they don't foul on guards, cheers, Brendan

is this the bit your looking for...

I don't know about AUS specs but in Europe the original wheel specs were:
5.50J x 14 / 38mm offset with 185 or 195 R 14C tires.
I did research on the Land Cruiser 200 series and the PCD is very close: 5x150 (5x152.4 on the CF)
2.4mm dosen't seem much difference BUT that 1.2mm on each hole won't let the nut tapper seat properly in the hole.
The land cruiser also uses M14 lug nuts while the CF is 7/16" which is equivalent to aprox. M12 if Im not mistaken.
Also the stock rims have 60mm offset...
-
My original rims are 7.00 x 14 They had 6 ply tyres.

Hi
Do they have to in a stop box format?
I dont use it, others may not either?
Can you email them to me and we will try another method ?
Thanx 😊
-
Hi Wendy,
Yes there may be a more tech savvy way of sharing them, that would be great if you have some ideas.
If you click the links they will take you to a folder showing all the files. In the top right hand corner you will see a button saying "Download". If you click on that, there is an option for direct download - it will download everything as a zip file and then they can be extracted individually.
If you prefer to download them one by one as PDF files (not zip files), open them individually and then click the same download button.
I just tried it and it should work but any problems just holler.
Thanks Wendy,
Stuart

Ok will give that a go then 😊😊
Thanx for that
