If you check the pics in my gallery, the green beddy is as near as dammit to being vinyl wrapped - it would definately be possible and the outcome would be awesome - better still, when the time comes that you're sick of it you just peel it off. I've seen the work that fleeting image do here in Melbourne and its unreal!

If you want instant murals or graphics, vinyl wraps are good and relatively inexpensive. Not real D.I.Y. friendly though. There are new metallic colours available now too.

Although the manufacturers claim their product has a 10 year outdoor life, if you require a finish that will still look good beyond 5 years, don't do it. Vinyl wraps aren't a long term investment.

You need to have a decent glossy paint job for the vinyl to adhere properly, (no good over undercoat alone), so why not just spend a little more on custom paintwork that will actually last.

I would hate to put a price on the cost of air brushing the snake van. But i guess if it cost a grand to wrap the van above and it last 8 to 10 years, might be the go. To airbrush would be in the area of 5 to 10 grand, suppose it depends on the detail in the mural, and what your tastes are.
