Title: Panel/Paint/Welding courses or Workshops???
Post by: Kirk on September 12, 2008, 01:36:38 PM
Hey guys,

After the forum meet i have been seriously thinking about doing some kind of course, now i work alot, both mornings and nights, and although i could no doubt re-arrange my work commitments for a course, it would only be possible if it was 1 or 2 a week (or similair), ive done some searches but mostly Tafe courses and all tho they sound perfect "Automotive Body and Paint" the shortest course was 14 weeks fulltime (just not possible), however ive been un-able to find like workshops (you know some garage that runs a weekly DIY type course over such and such time...)

Ideally i would like to learn Paint, Rust Repair and Body Modification (no not the hooks and needle type) so that i could do customising in the future.... Does anyone know of something (preferably in the west or central melbourne??) Cheers..

I have emaild a mate about this, will post here when I find out more.

I'm sure the course he is doing is once a week, at night, for a term, he then just re-enrolls for the next term :D.

Also Channel 31 run a few "HotRod" shows that cover this sort of thing as well.
