Post by: phill on February 15, 2012, 05:56:28 PM
New to the club read most of the posts on the V6 commodore conversion and keen on doing one, a friend has both auto and 5 speed man vp for sale I,m keen on the manual has anyone seen this or do you all go auto due to the lack of foot room for a clutch pedal with the bigger engine hole & cover would really appreciate the pro,s & con,s PS love the site.

if you really want to run a manual you can.. you just have to position stuff to suit this.

when you do the conversion you can push the motor back and down, or you can offset the engine to the left, passenger has stacks of room so they can have some engine:) doesnt have to be much, just enough for your foot,

or you can move the steering column to give you a bit of room.

or put a v8 chev in which are narrower v.
