Post by: restoreid on September 06, 2008, 08:59:15 PM
Hi Eddy glad you liked the fitout in my old coaster yeah the table does fit between the seats to form another bed tho we never used it & it slid into brackets behind the pass seat when not in use I have other photos of the interior if you would like to see them Cheers Reid

hi Reid, that would be good if you could, I was looking at a Coaster as an alternative to a caravan and towing the wifes small car behind us on a trailer. We are planning to doing the round Oz trip in March next year, she wants the expensive 4 x 4 and the big van (dunna not know where she gonna get the monie from) but I want to use the beddie (like thats gonna happen) to tow a caravan, only prob is that the beddie has no air con or power steering so she won't drive it. I am a carpenter so we will be working our way round ... looking at taking 2 years leave with out pay, but will start off with 6 months long service on half pay to get us started. Just hit the big 5 - 0 and the kids have left home except the 22 year old but we may take him with us (yeah he can tow his own van) ...... we have looked at a few buses but the price of diesel has put us off buying a big unit, as well as parking etc ..... still trying to convince the queen that I reckon a Coaster and towing a small car is better than a huge 4 x 4 landcruiser and big expensive caravan ......

Hey Eddy better idea stay with the beddi & go by yourself I'm telling you it's the only way youl get away from your kids Seariously the coaster was alright except not enough power to pull itself along let alone a small car unless you get a late model 4.2 turbo diesel but who could afford one of thoes Cheers Reid

Hey Eddy I put some more photos in my gallery there's not much room in the SWB coasters would be a bit cramped for staying in for long periods of time like 2 years traveling something bigger would be better Cheers Reid
