Hi Ritchie.....Mate if you have access to some bearing companies over there it should be easy as to find one that will do the job. Here in West OZ we have places like CBC bearings ,Hardyspicer, ect that can match that bearing up. I bought one about 12 months ago for my truck ,but ended up having a new drive shaft made up any way so didnt end up using it. Now the bearings sits in a rubber mounting or shroud that usually shit them selves with age so if you can take out the whole assembly and take it to one of these bearing mobs they should be able to help. I just had a look at the spare bearing i have in the shed and it doesnt have any part numbers on it? :-\ .Let us know how you get on. You are welcome to this one for free and if it will fit i am more than happy to post it to you. ;D ;D cheers....johnno

This might give you a better idea ;D ;D ;D My shaft was butchered by previous owner so your centre bearing wont be so close to the input shaft like this one :-\

Hey Johnno cheers for that...
Have to admit, I havn't even looked at it as the van (i live in it) lives on the coast where I work (mining) so when I'm home in Nelson nothing else matters lol
I'll stick my head under Billie(Bedford) when I get back down there and see if it compares to what you have....
Cheers

Hi Ritchie,,,,With mine it looked like the bearing was pressed on (i never got a chamce to try and get it off) Yes the two shafts should slide out from each other. Before you pull them apart just scratch a mark on or paint pen a line on the two halves so they line up in the same way after the bearing is replaced. ;D

Yea guys
Just awsome stuff, I've found these forums brilliant for sourcing parts and info, not long ago on another forum, found a front cut for my other old pom bomb in the UK, it's now back on the road after having been involved in a headon 18 months ago...
So yea 3 cheers Johnno and keep the faith chap  ;)
