Since a little tacker I have been interested in bees. Catching them, playing with them and getting stung by them. For years now I have been keeping native bees (stingless) and just over a year ago my Uncle set me up with a European honey bee hive. Unfortunately I lost this hive probably 12 months after due to a pest called SHB or Small Hive Beetle.
Just a few weeks ago I received a new hive to start over with and fairly quickly I was thrown in the deep end.
In this video I am taking the lid off my new hive for the first time when we receive a call from the neighbour saying he has a wild swarm in his wall.

This second video I am going to attempt to trap the bees out of the neighbours wall.
First sourcing some eggs for the trap box and then placing the trap.
