I bought a new compatible Morris Minor Indicator arm and STILL having the same probs?
My guess its something to do with the original electicals, but then again what the hell would i know,....im just the interior decorator dept chic?

had similar prob recently (about the last 3 years, still no hurry eh) was the connector on the firewall not making good contact. Could also be fuses, depending on what year your van is. Also check inf anyone has added a relay to the headlight circuit, these have also been known to fail especially when fitted in engine bay.
Hope this helps
Cheers Jeff

OK, kool, thanku Jeff!
Fuses are all fine,its a 1980 van.
Also just found out the Blinkers arent working now?
Wayne will checkout what you have suggested,
cheers

Try cleaning the contacts on your headlight switch, but also could be faulty high beam switch or wiring, I had a floor dipper wired into my indicator switch. Are they original headlights or halogen? The old Bedford wiring doesn't cope very well halogen headlights, if they are they need to be rewired. I had headlight problems for years until I had them fully rewired with relays and fuses etc.

Check your earths are good and as Jeff mentioned that junction box on the fire wall can be the cause of many problems

Thanx Kiwi,
kool..Um but wheres the junction box, inside under the dash or under the bonnet?
thanku

its on the drivers side under the bonnet.. right up in the top corner .. you may need a torch to see it.. they are a rubber plug socket system..i have some infoe here some were that tell's me what one is for what as there are 3 plugs and i had to do some wire tracing a while ago.

Posted a little while back that my push pull light switch stopped working. What happened was the lights just stopped working one night and I had to giggle the switch to make them work. I have since replaced the switch which I think was out of a valiant (bought at a swap meet for 8 bucks) and now working sweet. Tried to locate an original one but had no joy, have you thought of this? They tell me this is a common problem in Beddies.
Cheers
