thanks 4 ur help, think the plan is 2 use the high speed from the ute and get the drive shafts cut and re-welded. seems like the cheepest way. still might buy the diff for the ute. but not 2 day mayb a few weeks. want 2 still b able 2 move the ute coz it drives well

You will need 2 axle stands and a good jack
1. undo the lower shock mount bushes
2.take the break hub off and release the handbrake cable & break line on Y side
3. undo the uni joint that holds the tail shaft (4bolts)
4.undo the 4 nuts on top off the big square flat plates that are attached to the Ubolts
5. make sure you place a good jack under the center off the diff
6.Jack the van up and place the axle stand in Front off the diff under the springs
7. Gently lower the van and the diff will separate from the spring locating point
8.if your axle stands were high enough just wheel the housing out.

Have I missed anything?
Daves will have his new diff in on Tuesday feel free to come over for a brew if you want to have a gander.

remember safety 1st, that beautiful contract you have with your missus is null and void if your Flat  ;D
