Hey busy, were the wheels for the custom van, or just ones laying around.  Just shows that you have to lock everything up, little bastards will take anything not bolted and welded down. Busy, when you do their kneecaps, give the elbows a workout, that will put mongrels out of commision for a while. Good luck mate. BUGA.

These wheels were bedford stud and were for my other (third) Bedford

They took 5 bedford mags (all with good tyres) but left a HQ steel rim with near new tyre.
I had some other bedford stuff under the stairs but they weren't touched nor were the old truck batteries on the other side of the drive. So is hard to work out if they got them for scrap or for a CF. Probably just took them because they were mags but had no idea what they were off.
Am doing the rounds of tyre shops and scrap dealers on monday and keeping an eye online

Here's a picture of a rim if that helps.

I'll be selling mine hopefully shortly but I think I'll wait till you've found yours. I don't want a knock on my door from someone with a bat.

I have a set in my workshop that were on my van, trust me busy i have never been to NZ, and mine have black paint on them.  ;D ;D ;D You can come to my place with a bat busy, but i only have half a knee left, better bring half a bat.  ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D sorry buddy, this is a serious issue.
It has reach the point of locking up everything, or loose it unfortunately, we have had this problem b4 with other members and we will unfortunately have it again, sadly.  You are on the right track though busy, what is happening today is that, these mongrels are steeling one day and on ebay the next selling your property. You sound as if you are monitoring the online shops, so good luck, they have only a 50 - 50 chance of getting away with it, better then none at all.

Have done a few local tyre places and scrap dealers today, no luck but from feedback from them it looks like they might of been stolen to be used. Tyre place would charge $10 to strip trye off and scrap dealer would only give them $10 each for them.

Would hate to think it was a fellow bedford owner

Hey Busy, what are the actual sizes of the rims and tyres? Would make it easier to identify them if anyone saw them advertised.

They are the standard 14 x 7JJ Cheviot Tridents, and were sanded polished (sanded back with 600 wet and dry ad then polished to give that shiny matt shine. - from a distance they look like normal polished mag wheels)

Can't remember the tyre brands (wasn't the main ones) and think they were 205 / 60 /14.

Would know them if I saw them
